Job Title: Dental Hygienist - Part Time
Reports To: Dental Clinic Director

Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities is a Christian ministry dedicated to serving the homeless, poor, and addicted in our community. By meeting physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs, our Mission is changing lives!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning and polishing teeth.
• Instructing patients in good oral and hygiene habits after care for dental treatments rendered.
• Providing other preventative dental care.
• Work chair side as needed with the dentist during examinations and treatment
• Maintain instruments and equipments in good condition to facilitate excellent care.
• Take and record medical history and medication lists.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene, Minnesota license in Dental Hygiene and National Board of Certification are required. Minimum of two years of dental office experience also required. The qualified candidate must also be professional and possess strong verbal and written communication.
