A
Million Lights for 37 Nights!
Holiday Lights in the Park - A New Family Holiday Tradition
Celebrating its first holiday season in
Minnesota, Holiday Lights in the Park is a new community event that focuses
on raising funds for the Union Gospel Mission as well as other local
charities and providing an impressive and affordable means of holiday
entertainment for people of all ages.
Visitors will enjoy a spectacular array of holiday lights and animated
displays as they take a leisurely drive through Phalen Park. The enchanting
tour is approximately a half mile in length along Saint Paul’s Lake Phalen
and Phalen Golf course. The event will run for 37 nights, opening on
November 25th and continuing through December 31st. Daily holiday tours are
from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
Holiday
Lights in the Park is a family-fun event providing delightful entertainment
as well as raising funds for those who are in need. Ice castles with
snowdrift peaks, soldiers with horns, Santa Claus in a North Pole truck, a
tunnel of lights, tumbling gingerbread man falling from the sky and reindeer
leaping over the road are a sample of what visitors can expect. There will
be more than 40 unique life-size displays portraying scenes with a holiday
flavor or those with a winter feel. Several of the scenes will be animated.
