On December 1, 1902, inspired by the pioneering work of city missions around the world and rising social pressures at home, the YMCA and a group of men from St. Paul churches established Union Gospel Mission to be “first, last and all the time a soul-winning society, a haven for shipwrecked souls.”
Today, the Mission provides food, shelter, discipleship, mental health services, education, job training, and vital care to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness.
Join us as we celebrate our official 120th anniversary on December 1, 2022. We are excited to celebrate God’s amazing faithfulness to UGMTC and the many ways He has brought love, hope, and healing to countless men, women, and children through the work of the Mission for 120 years. Business attire.
