Union Gospel Mission Stands Up to Homelessness

At the Mission, we’re committed to standing up to homelessness every day.

But in 2017, we’re committing to getting the word out even more. That’s why we’re inviting you January 24 to an exciting event: A Day of Music and Hope.  This event kicks off a year of Standing Up to Homelessness.

If you’re new to the Mission—or even if you’re familiar with us—you’ll discover something that day that will interest you.

105 The Vibe radio will hold a radiothon at the Men’s Campus on that day, with personality Zannie K. broadcasting live onsite from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Highlights of the day include:

  • Free meals and refreshments
  • Campus tours
  • Student testimonies
  • Music from local jazz artists and musicians from the Mission

The day closes out with a must-see Chapel service beginning at 7 p.m. featuring Dr. Charles P. Morgan, CEO and our Changed Lives Choir with Dan Adler and the Heart of the City singers.

Plus,  you’ll hear about all the ways you can give back to your community through financial gifts or volunteering.

Standing up to homelessness starts with seeing homelessness. Begin to see the complex issues by joining us January 24. You’ll be inspired and encouraged by the exciting ministries that take people from the streets to “complete” as God works in their lives through Mission programs.

No reservation required. We’re looking forward to seeing you January 24!
