Volunteers Needed for Meals and Medical Screening

Even in the COVID-19 crisis, Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities is open. While we have cut back on some volunteer opportunities, we still have two important opportunities for people in our community to get involved: served meals and be a medical screener at our Men’s Campus.

Meal Servers

We are still providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week for over 600 people a day.  Volunteers must be healthy to serve, and must NOT HAVE:

  • A fever, cough, or shortness of breath
  • Traveled from an affected geographic area within the past 14 days
  • Been in close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 within the past 14 days.

Medical Screening Volunteers

Beginning Monday, March 23, we began doing medical screening at our Men’s Campus for everyone coming onsite for meals or services as well as everyone in residence.

If you have a medical background either as someone who is retired or currently practicing, we welcome you to sign up.
