Christ Recovery Center: Addiction Treatment in Minneapolis/St. Paul

Treatment centers in Minneapolis, treatment centers in St. Paul, Minneapolis drug treatment centers, St. Paul drug treatment centers

If you’re a man struggling with addiction to alcohol or other substances who has exhausted your opportunities in other community treatment or recovery programs, we’re here for you. As a men’s recovery center in the Twin Cities, we have a high success rate for treating addictions to drugs or alcohol. We’ll help you get off the street, restore your relationship with God and others, and improve your life. Are you ready to get serious? We hope so, because we’re serious about helping you.

  • “The Mission has changed me completely. Three years ago my only thoughts were where I would sleep, where I would get drugs, would I be in jail or out of jail. Now I’m sober and going to college. I have a lot more hopes and dreams now.”

    — Brad
  • “The Mission has given me hope again. In my addiction I was just surviving; I really wasn’t living life. Now I’m living life.”

    — Mike
  • “The Mission saved my life. My doctor told me I didn’t have overdosing in me anymore; I’d been doing it too long and needed to figure out what’s going on in my life. His words sunk into me. The CRC has everything; I’m not worried about or wanting for anything.

    — Greg
  • “I feel hope here because the only stress I have is the stress of finding myself, which now I have time to do. I don’t have to worry about where I sleep, where I eat, if I’m going to wake and be safe. I can actually figure out what I want to be when I grow up.”

    — Bob

 The Christ Recovery Center Offers…
  • A Family of Brothers. At the CRC, you’ll join a brotherhood of men looking for recovery and in need of a sober network. You’ll grow spiritually, brush up on your education or earn your GED, prepare for the job search, and participate in work therapy. Through the process, you’ll find hope and peace.
  • Holistic Care. In addition to recovery, we’ll help you grow in integrity and honesty; establish an honorable work ethic; refresh your education; and even get back in shape so you can become the person God wants you to be.
  • No Time Limit. Our program is 4-6 months long. But we like to say, “just stay until the miracle happens”—the miracle of recovery. For many students, that miracle takes 15-18 months.
  • Affordability. There are minimal fees. Because most students are eligible for cash assistance, most students pay little to nothing out of their own pocket to participate. We do not rely on government funding and are primarily funded by individual donors.
  • Christ-centered Recovery. The program focuses primarily on recovery through a relationship with Christ and the principles of evangelical Christianity, preferring to look forward, not backward even as you begin self-understanding about your own drug or alcohol use. Your Higher Power—Jesus Christ—will be found at the CRC.

4-Phase Approach

Our program consists of 4 phases:

  • Phase I:     Orientation
  • Phase II:    Education
  • Phase III:   Development
  • Phase IV:  Application

Phase I and II are completed in 4 to 6 months on average. During this time you’ll focus on attaining specific goals that enable you to face the challenges of living sober in your community.

Phases III and IV will help you apply the knowledge, skills, and abilities received in earlier phases as you reintegrate into society. As a CRC student, you’ll meet life’s challenges head-on while safely nestled in the comfort of our college-dormitory-style transitional housing unit. Case managers, chaplains, and other support staff will ensure you have the best chance of making and sustaining life-long changes.
