A partner in the executive search firm Ballinger/Leafblad, Inc., Bob Schoenbaum is a search industry veteran helping nonprofit, civic, healthcare and academic organizations and boards identify and recruit new leaders. Bob was drawn to serve on the UGMTC board because of his personal faith, his own journey through dependency and recovery, and his extended family experiences with homelessness. He has been active in the nonprofit and business community and currently serves on the boards of Clearly Present Foundation and Currie State Bank. Bob and his wife, Angela Surprenant, live between their home in Edina, a cabin in southwestern Minnesota and anywhere warm in the winter.
