A Safe and Loving Environment for Your Child
We welcome all in a supportive and inclusive environment. As we take time to learn about the unique personality, life experiences and needs of each child, we develop their strengths and skills. We encourage each child to build social and educational skills through positive relationships with other children and caring adults. Teachers and staff are excited to work with each child to prepare them for bright futures and success in school.
A Place of Love and Fun!
Kids have fun while learning at the CDC! Each child will be in the tender care of devoted staff in a fun and engaging environment. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided daily at no extra charge. Indoor and outdoor play areas allow plenty of space for kids to run and explore. All children receive the respect they deserve and learn to show respect for others. Lessons in faith and love create a safe community where children feel secure and ready to learn.
Children learn best when they feel safe, secure and loved.
Preparing for Kindergarten
93% of children attending the CDC meet or exceed widely held expectations for kindergarten readiness.
Through group activities, monthly themes, active learning centers, and directed lessons, young learners prepare for school with curriculum in the following areas:
- Gross and fine motor skills
- Literacy and art
- Mathematics, science, and technology
- Social/emotional language
- Faith and the Bible
We partner with Saint Paul Public Schools to ensure all children are ready for kindergarten—including providing additional support for those children who could benefit from special education resources through Saint Paul Public Schools’ Special Education Department.
Experienced Educators
Children learn best when they feel safe, secure and loved.
Our teachers are experienced educators committed to bringing out the best in your child. Each of our teachers has met the guidelines for teacher certification with the MN Department of Human Services. Beyond the minimum requirements, teachers receive additional training on a variety of topics, equipping them to care for children from a variety of experiences and backgrounds.
We are here to help children thrive.
Best Practices in Teaching & Learning
Our programs meet the highest standards of quality, provide holistic and effective early education, and promote positive relationships for all children and adults to encourage each child’s sense of individual worth.
