Mental Health Services

Promoting health and wellness through free, on-site mental health therapy services for men, women, and children staying at the Mission and medical care for those experiencing homelessness in the community.

In all of our programs, we include mental health support in each resident’s overall health care plan. Our on-site Mental Health Clinic provides easy access and the opportunity to integrate the clinic’s services with our other programs. Mental Health Services offers:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Intelligence, learning, neuropsychological, and personality testing
  • Inter-disciplinary case management for all Mission residents
  • Conversations about spiritual matters relating to emotional and physical health.

In addition, the Mental Health Services team trains Mission staff to be advocates and use best practices for the social and emotional care for all residents.

Mental Health Services Clinical Hours

The Mental Health Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed for lunch from 12 to 1 p.m.)

Medical Care

Health care at the Mission is also provided weekly through a partnership with Minnesota Community Care. Medical staff offer tuberculosis testing, treatment of minor injuries, some prescription refills, and other services to people living unsheltered in the community.

Give now

Your most generous gift today will provide mental health care, along with meals, shelter, and other critical care. Many of our residents and guests have never had this level of mental health therapy and medical care, and it’s making a powerful difference in their health and wellbeing.

Give what you can to provide on-site mental health services that can heal the pain of the past so our residents and guests can move into a promising future. Thank you!
