The Joshua Sznaider Memorial Scholarship was established in 2020 to help Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities residents pursue their career dreams and improve their financial stability, one of the five measurable outcomes our residents work toward.
Thanks to the generous support of Joshua’s parents, Ron and Michele, as well as their family and friends, the Joshua Sznaider Memorial Scholarship has enabled scholarship recipients to advance their educational and career goals in ways that would not have been possible otherwise. Since 2020, there have been 37 exceptional Sznaider Scholars, 15 of whom have successfully completed their programs, are now gainfully employed, and are shaping brighter futures. In 2025, 15 individuals received financial support from this generous scholarship.
Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities offers a robust and comprehensive Education and Workforce Development Program to all its residents. Every Sznaider Scholarship recipient has received educational support in this program, and many, before moving into higher education, completed this core program.
The scholarship program is now fully funded.
