Do you ever wonder what you can do to help someone experiencing homelessness? You might not know how to respond when you see someone on the side of the road. You may wonder how places like UGMTC address mental health or addiction. Maybe you’re curious about the realities of homelessness, hunger and addiction in our community…
If you are in your 20s and 30s, you’re invited to Emerging Hope on Thursday, June 13, for a young adult event where we will dive into these issues!
A recent survey showed that almost 50% of people experiencing homelessness in the twin cities were families. Come and learn with us during a patio Q&A session with staff from our Naomi Family Program, serving women and women with children, about the current issues facing our neighbors. You can submit your questions about homelessness, hunger and addiction in our community to events@ugmtc.org in advance.
